The Studio

Here are some shots of my studio not long after I fitted it out (emphasis on I here):


My Studio was kindly 'Donated' to me by my Husband, Michael, who I think got sick of seeing all my bits and pieces scattered throughout the house!

So the 4th bedroom of our new home in South Guildford, Western Australia has been fitted out as my lampwork and jewellery design studio.

My Studio houses my Kiln, Mini CC Dual Fuel Torch, Oxygen Concentrator, Glass and all other materials, tools and equipment associated with my art. I spend nearly all my time in the Studio, which is great because it means I'm not messing up the rest of the house!

I also store all administration, photographic and computer equipment there as well, so it is my office as well as my glass haven :)

The photos above show the lampworking station as clean as I think I have ever seen it...there are commonly stubbs of glass, sprinkles of frit and stringer ends scattered all over the desk! It's on the To Do List!!!
